Here’s a couple short videos from a dinner party I cooked last night.

I love doing these in house dinners, especially when I walk in and see familiar faces of people who buy meat and seafood from me. This is the community I seek to build… built around good food, good friends and good times.

From the hours long city council meetings fighting it, to the acceptance of it, to finding a new location… they have shown resilience. No matter where they show up, I’m there. We are so incredibly lucky to have this market in our community. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you to all growers for what they do. My food is nothing without this produce.

This salad has some big flavors from the Raisin Caper Vinaigrette that the fruits are dressed with. Served on a bed of Arugula and “garnished”
with Fresh Mozzarella.

It’s so simple, give it a try!

2 T Balsamic Vinegar
1/3 C Raisins
3ea Garlic Cloves, Sliced
3 T Capers
3/4 C Parsley, Minced
1/3 C Olive Oil
Pinch Salt & Black Pepper

Mix Well.

This will store for one or two days in the fridge but I really prefer to make it fresh so the raisins have raisin texture. If it sits for more than a couple of days they will soak up the vinegar. Then they turn into sour grapes!!

This dressing is also killer with bitter greens like radicchio or frisée. I have served that with salmon before and it went over really well.
